Our family has been using pages from Notebooking Pages for a very long time… quite possible since we started homeschooling over ten years ago.
Rather than using boring notebook paper, I print a set of these pages for different subjects. Most recently, we have added some pages to our science notebooks for use with Biology 101.
Using notebooking pages in your homeschool can take a reluctant writer to a whole new level. With plain paper it is overwhelming for them. However, with a page that has some pictures, and a little guidance, they can take off. It is like giving them wings.
For the child who loves to write… you will be happily printing pages and pages for them… or better yet teach them to print their own. Notebooking Pages has helped me create independent learners. They come to me with a subject and we print pages, and later they turn them in for school credit!!
Anytime you can take learning from boring to interesting in your homeschool, you have accomplished one of our family’s biggest goals in our homeschool. We want our children to learning to enjoy learning and to know how to learn. If they are bored, they likely won’t retain what they are supposed to be learning.
