I had planned to keep up with blogging, but life got in the way…again. Only, I mean LIFE…

About a week ago, we made a little announcement to our children and well, lets just say it caused a GREAT deal of EXCITEMENT.

Honestly, I wish I had pictures or a video, but I don’t…

You will just have to take my word for it…

When we made this announcement, our children were jumping and crying tears of joy, EVEN our 14 year old BOY!!!

Oct. 7 I got sick, I don’t mean a little sick. I mean puking, dizzy, headache sick. (We didn’t know why I was sick) Tuesday afternoon, I scheduled a doctor appointment for Wednesday morning….that I never made. Tuesday evening my husband came home, was wrestling with our five year old and dislocated his shoulder. We got to the ER at about 11:15 pm, and didn’t get out of there until nearly 2 am. I slept right through my appointment Wednesday morning. I continued feeling really bad, and went to the chiropractor and a massage therapist on Thursday. Friday I felt pretty good, but then Saturday I was sick again. Then, we found out. We waited just over a week to tell the kiddos. I am still sick, in fact today has been one of my WORST days yet. Got to love getting to eight weeks. lol Sick mommy means a healthy baby, so I am told, and normally a girl for me.

I don’t know how anyone can be negative about a new baby. God does tell us to be fruitful and multiple in Geneses. He also tells us in Psalms 127 that children are a gift, His reward.

Why is it that it seems our children are the only ones who can see the blessing of another new life. So, whether you find this seventh baby for our family a blessing or not, we will celebrate new life.

With this new blessing comes a little more tired mom that will likely struggle a bit more to keep up during the holidays this year. In order to help me keep up, I am grabbing the Inspired Holiday Bundle - 25 products for holiday inspiration at only $25.
