Homeschool Conventions WITH Children in Tow

So, up until this year, I have always had my children with me at conventions. Most of the time, some of them attend the children’s program. I nearly always take a mommy’s helper, as I nearly always have one, two or three who are too young for the children’s program.

My mommy’s helper is now a homeschool grad, she has been going with me for at least five years. She knows what I need when I need it. Uhh, yeah, I will be lost without her. She has become another daughter for me. All my children call her their sister.

The first step is to blanket train your children. All my children are trained to play quietly on a blanket from an early age, before crawling. This sets us up for easy church and other times when they must be quiet for a long stretch of time.
