Once again our oldest was working with dad near Quivera Wildlife Refuge, when he found three Eastern Fence Lizards. These are the neatest little creatures, and they are really cute in a scaly kind of a way.
They are so fun to watch. They bob their heads, race around and the tiny one will crawl up on top of the largest ones head, causing the largest one to race around like crazy. Hmm, acting like children maybe?
These were found in an alfalfa field along a wide stand of trees.

That is so neat! We had some kind of lizard at our old house, but he was kind of scary and ugly looking.
