Welcome to our Nature Study Tuesday. I no longer do these every Tuesday, but we do them around monthly.
A week or so ago, my son found a pupa, I couldn’t get my camera close enough to get a picture that you could see. However, my son was out side constantly watching it every day to see when it would submerge.
He got to watch it come out, and he held his hand out to see if maybe it would climb on so he could show the rest of us…and it did!!!!
He observed for a little while and then took it back out to the bush where he found it. About an hour later, it flew away.
I am so glad we got to watch it.

That is amazing! What a HUGE weird looking moth. Too neat that he was able to watch it emerge! We did a big moth nature study this summer, but unfortunately missed the emergence by just minutes. I linked it up. Glad to see you doing this again! Have a great week!
