What to wear? Well, I will be wearing my khakis or jeans and a shirt with a sweater. I have found from experience, that layers at retreats/conventions work best!! For shoes? My Danskos of course, because well, they are the most comfortable shoes ever!!
And, as a special bonus, the winner of this giveaway will get to stay in my hotel room with my two friends who are traveling with me!! So, you won’t have hotel expenses to add!! How cool is that?
I would like to thank Teach Them Diligently Convention for helping provide for my travel expenses to the Homeschool Moms’ Winter Retreat. I encourage all of you to check out what Teach Them Diligently has to offer in your area. They will have Christian conventions in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Nebraska!! Last year’s convention was AWESOME!! I will be attending the Omaha convention in May.

Thanks for doing this! I so hope I win! I am in need of encouragement!
The toughest challenge Im facing so far is the fear of starting, the fear of failing, the fear of not knowing enough….
Would love to go.
My toughest homeschooling challenge is dealing with preschoolers while homeschooling older kids at varying levels.
Our toughest challenge has been to juggle so many little ones, with educating my big ones. I get tons of ideas, but none of them seem to work well for us. Organization is another huge challenge.
My biggest challenge is preparing my son for high school,I am so unsure of the record keeping and how to create transcripts for college.
Thank you for offering this giveaway!:) My greatest HS challenge is remaining consistent on a day-to-day basis. My other greatest challenge is managing our 11 children who are still at home.;)
I would love to be able to attend this conference and be refreshed!!
Would love for a chance to go!
I have 2 tough challenges in homeschooling:
1. My 17 year old son has high-functioning autism, my 11 year old is gifted with possible ADHD, and my 6 year old has sensory issues. So they are all special blessings and have “special” needs.
2. The age difference between my 3 kids makes it hard to teach them all at once. I try to give them individual help and attention. I struggle with planning, organization, and time management too. It is hard to teach them all the same thing when they are all on different levels.
Thanks for letting me enter the contest. I would love to go!
I would LOVE a chance to win this! My toughest challenge is juggling so many ages. 7 kids ages 16-3.
trying to help the kiddo find a math program that works for her has been the toughest part so far.
Toughest challenge is believing everything will turn out okay… but it will!!
I always start out the school year with grand plans then get disappointed when we can’t accomplish everything and have to start cutting back. I need to start simple and then figure out if and what we can added.
Thanks for the contest, it would be so great to be able to go! I think one of our toughest challenges has been my husband’s work schedule … originally it was WHY we decided to homeschool. He works afternoons/nights on most days, including weekends. His days off typically happen in the middle of the week sometime, but nothing is set. So he’s home with us until early afternoon - wonderful family time, hard to get school done after he’s gone and before dinner!
My toughest part right now is getting things done with the older four kids while keeping the 2 YO out of trouble.
So far the toughest part about homeschooling has been accepting that I don’t have to accomplish everything on my to-do list each day, that it is okay to deviate and embrass the interuptions that come as they may be packed with Life lessons that can’t be taught from books.
Toughest part of homeschooling - consistency!
Toughest challenge- managing toddler, babies, home, and still accomplishing school.
oh how I wish i could go to this! Just too far for me. Praying you have a blessed time!
Worrying if I’m doing enough is quite a struggle for me!
I would love to attend the Summit!
My toughest challenge is life getting in the way this year. A couple of deaths in the family already with long illnesses! But thankful for homeschooling for the same reason.
This would be such a blessing for me and by extension, my family!!
My health is my biggest challenge. There are days I’m not feeling well or in pain, and getting schooling done is a challenge.
My toughest challenge in our homeschool journey is some family members do not support us. Thanks for the giveaway
What is your toughest challenge as a homeschool mom?
Remembering I can’t do it all & personal reading time that has nothing to do with homeschooling the girls.
Hello! Thanks for offering this contest! I could use some refreshment! (:
