As in, the rain we have been praying for came, along with high winds, and hail.
We didn’t really receive at our home, but over at my in laws where we keep a lot of our farm equipment is another story.
The out building that we stored some of our smaller equipment was blown away. As it went down, it damaged our 1952 G John Deere, and an old pick up my husband had restored when in high school. We are both a little sick…
So, instead of actually starting our new year today as planned, we will be cleaning up debris from the surrounding hay fields, yard and repairing equipment.
We are very thankful or the rain. However, as it is whenever storms wreck havoc, we are now busily working to get the farm back into production.
Later today, I will get some pictures to add to this post.
