Fall Party Fun

The Hot Guy and I have discussed having one of those big BBQs at our home for several years, however we never got around to it, until Sunday evening.

This wasn’t as big as we have thought we would do, but we had a lot of fun, and well, 24 children running around is kind of like standing in the middle of an ant hill. Winking smile

Our family tends to run on spontaneous actions. This party was nothing less…Planned at 10 pm Saturday evening, shopping at 10 pm at Wal-Mart for the food, and calling people as we drove home, and at church. WE managed to get 34 people over…9 adults and 25 children ages 18 down to two. Someone should have a baby…

No that isn’t a sneaky announcement. Winking smile

We had hot dogs, baked beans, chips, a veggie tray, brownies, ice cream and s’mores.

We didn’t organize games for the children as we wanted to give them the opportunity to be children and come up with their own activities. They all had a lot of fun, and the parents rarely had to intervene.

I can safely say, we will be doing more of these. I am already putting together the plans for the next round up this fall. Winking smile

So where are the pictures? Umm, there aren’t any, I was too busy having fun!
