Nature Study Tuesday~August 24~Healing, teeny Tiny Snake.

As I posted yesterday, life is a bit busy here. Getting back to normal school hours, taking care of Stormy and canning are taking priority right now, so, my memes will be up, just maybe not when they have been. Just come link up when you can though. ;)

Stormy our horse who was injured just about two weeks ago is showing signs of obvious healing. All the dead skin has sloughed off and everything is open and ready to heal. The tummy wound is looking real good, while the neck wound is still quite granulated. That should all change by next week. Most of the scrapes, and smaller wounds have all healed over and are now growing new hair. Please note that the pics, show the open wounds. DSCN5549

This is the tummy wound.  Nice clean edges.

This is the neck wound.  It is not healing as fast as the tummy wound, but looking pretty good.

While I was scrubbing Stormy down, she started dancing around and prancing.  I looked down and there was the smallest garter snake I have ever seen.
