Sewing Kits 4 Kids Review

Do you have children who want to learn to sew by hand?

Are you unsure of how to do some of those hand stitches?

Do you want your children

Sewing Kits 4 Kids. can help.  They carry many different projects on different levels, from sewing through punched holes to make a bag, (lacing), to sewing on buttons and stitching the blanket stitch and other more advanced hand sewing stitches.  Most of the supplies you need to complete each project are included in the little sewing kit you purchase, some basics like, needle, thread, pins and scissors are not.  Each kit ranges in price from $3-$5, so are very affordable.

For this review, I received four products.  We are working through the four kits we received for this review.  I will be adding pictures of the other projects as they are completed.   They are so much fun, not terribly time consuming, as they can be completed in one or two thirty minute settings and my girls are gaining hand sewing skills that I never learned, so I am learning too!

Heidi was able to complete her first project, First Steps Kit Heart Handbag $3.00, pretty much on her own.

For this beginners project kit, there is no needle, they have taken tape and wrapped it around the yarn to create a very safe needle for the beginning seamstress.

Heidi was able to complete her project in about 25 minutes.

I think she is very proud and used her heart bag to take her tithe to church.  I believe that is what this bag’s purpose is planned to be.

The Ladybug Pillow Kit includes Red and Black felt shapes, 3 pieces of black rick rack or ribbon, 6 black buttons, black embroidery floss, 2 googly eyes and stuffing.  You will need to supply needle, black sewing thread, scissors, pins and glue.

I highly recommend you visit the About Us page to learn about these two young ladies who are putting these kits together.  I am impressed with them, and highly recommend these products to add to your homes.  Even boys will benefit from learning to mend a seam or sew on a button.  Moms aren’t always going to be around!!

Sewing Kits 4 Kids, is a great way to have little projects on hand to supplement your Prairie Primer studies, or other studies.  Even though these kits have a modern flair for their finished project, the skills learned are similar to what Laura would have learned (outside of the gluing).

I received for kits for the purpose of this review.  There are also affiliate links included in this post.  Thank you for supporting Peace Creek on the Prairie.
